What’s holding you back? It could be one of many things, or a combination of things. If you don’t know what’s holding you back, ask yourself some hard questions.
- Do I deserve any better?
- Am I happy now?
- Am I fearful of an unknown future?
- Am I afraid of what others will think?
There are no right or wrong answers. The goal is to figure out what your answers are and what they mean to you. If you are having a problem coming up with the answers, you might try meditating on the questions, or perhaps writing about them. Sometimes talking them out with someone who has no stake in the answers helps. And if you find yourself saying “I don’t know” to them, then try asking yourself “what would it be if I DID know.”
