Daily Bliss #20131227
I love to watch kids at Christmas – their wide-eyed, awe-filled faces as they check out the tree and the gifts under it, their exclamations of glee when they find out they are getting a snow day from school. They are so sincere and so filled with joy at the slightest provocation. They seem to effortlessly live in the now, even as they are anticipating the wonder of things to come. My wish for us all is that we can retain at least a little of this as we grow older and become more weighed down by the burdens of the day. Let’s all try to remember what it was like to see the world through a child’s eyes.
