I am responsible to myself for what I do and what I believe. At the end of the day, I need to be able to look at myself in the mirror and honestly say, “Today I did the best I could. I may have stumbled in places, and tomorrow I will do my best to do better. I take full responsibility for what I did and what I did not do. I forgive myself for my shortcomings.” And I can go to sleep knowing that there was no malice in my actions and my intent was good.
