If you are feeling a little down and can’t seem to pull yourself out of it, try doing something nice for someone else. Make the effort to be there for someone else: work a shift at a soup kitchen, help your elderly neighbor, listen to a friend’s woes. Sometimes all it takes is to get outside your own funk and think about someone else for a while. It may not work for the particular funk you are in right now, but it sure is worth a try.
