You make your own decisions. No one is in charge of how you feel or react to something but you. You may not always get to decide what happens, but you do always get to decide how you are going to react to what happens. Don’t let anyone else convince you that you are somehow unable to make those decisions. There are a lot of people out there who would like to make those decisions for you. Some of them have good intentions, and some don’t. Don’t give away your power!
