Daily Bliss #20150710

When someone barks at you, shoots you a funny look, or treats you badly, remember that there is a very good chance that it is not about you. It could be about something that happened last night, or this morning, or something that they anticipate having to deal with later, or it may be as simple as they don’t feel well. Don’t take it personally. Sometimes the best thing to do is to recognize that it’s not about you, and let it go. If you can’t get past it, then ask the question, in a non-threatening way: Did I do something to upset you? If you did, then you will know. If you didn’t, you will know that it wasn’t personal.
