You don’t have to make all your changes at once – sometimes that is just too much to face, so you don’t make any change. Today I would challenge you to make this one change to your language. Learn to say “I choose” instead of “I have to” or “I need to.” Yes, this is a hard one. But remembering you are at choice is important to your well-being. Saying “I choose” gives YOU the power, not some invisible someone making you do something. You ARE at choice. You may choose to do some things because you don’t want to face the consequences of not doing them. And the choice is still yours. Use your words to remind you of that.
