Remember that feeling deeply is not a bad thing, though it may sometimes feel bad. Having empathy for others is a good thing; don’t let others make you believe otherwise. Empathy can put us in a place where we seem to be feeling too much. If that is the case, then back off a little for a short amount of time so you can get your bearings back. Then, please, go back to being your empathetic self – the world needs more empathy right now.
