It’s never too late to do what is important for you to do: to start a new career, to learn something new. It may be too late to get the outcome you originally desired – if you don’t start to play the violin until you’re 40, you may not be playing Carnegie Hall by the time you’re 45. And that doesn’t mean you should not learn to play the violin when you’re 40. Life is not about the destination, but rather it is about the journey.
