Abraham Lincoln said, “People are just as happy as they make up their minds to be.” I believe that, because I have seen people who seem to have nothing to be happy about, and yet they still are. I don’t know if there is anyone alive who doesn’t have at least one thing in their life that is not going exactly as they want it to. If you wait to be happy until everything is perfect, you may never get the chance to be happy. Better to appreciate and celebrate your life, and to make being happy independent of what is going on.  Remember nothing is permanent; everything changes.  So if things are going well now, that may change tomorrow.  But if things are not going well now, that may also change tomorrow. Choose to be happy now!
