Whether you are feeling great, or a little out of sorts, or unhappy and don’t know why, or anything else, remember your gratitude. There is so much to be grateful for; it never hurts to make a list. If you are feeling good, it can increase your happiness. If you are down, it can help you to remember that there is good out there in the world. If you can find only one small thing to be grateful for – start there. Increase it as you can. Pretty soon you may find that you have a long list. And be sure to remember the small things as well as the large; a smile from a stranger can be just as important as that fancy new car. Practice this mantra: I am grateful for all I have now, and all I will have in the future.
