Daily Bliss #20150903

There are a lot of unpleasant things happening out there in the world, and they are amplified by the constant ‘news’ on the television, radio, and internet. The noise and the news are too much for me. There ARE good things happening and good people in the world, but you would never know it, because they get so little airtime. I suggest a news moratorium, or at least a news diet. If you can’t go cold turkey and stop watching altogether, then at least cut down to one news show a day (or a week if you can do it). Pick a show, watch it, then move on to another station or another activity. And remember to be grateful for the good, whether you see it or not. Where you put your attention matters, so put it on what you want more of, not on the loudest story of the day.
