Take a tip from a parent; sometimes a time out is what is needed. When you are feeling overloaded, at the end of your wits, or about to lose it, find a quiet place to sit and give yourself a time out. Maybe you can take quick 15 minute nap; maybe you can meditate for 5 minutes. Maybe you can just shut your eyes and breathe for a minute – maybe that’s enough. What is important is that it be long enough to hit your re-set button, and that time may vary depending on the circumstances. Try it – it might work for you.
