Is it too big a thing to attempt?
Take it one step at a time. Whether it is cleaning out a closet, changing a habit, starting a walking program, losing weight, setting out on a journey, or anything else – one step at a time is the only way to get started and move forward. You can try taking huge leaps forward, but eventually you will get tired and quit. Try committing to cleaning one shelf in that closet each day. You can always do a little more if you get into it and feel like it. Commit to walking just one block the first week, add another block each week, and in 3 months you are walking 12 blocks at a time.
