HAPPY PLACE

Sometimes I get overwhelmed, start to overthink everything, can’t think straight, or have to be somewhere I’d rather not be (like having a medical procedure). That’s when I know it’s time to go to my Happy Place, which is currently the ocean. If I can, I physically go there. If that’s not possible, I go in my mind. I close my eyes, smell the smells, see the views, feel the peace. I highly recommend it. Your Happy Place can change though the years; it can be the ocean, the mountains, 5 minutes alone in the shower, someplace you have been, someplace you want to go, anywhere. The only rule is that you are happy there.
