Sleep – when I get enough I feel fresh, awake, sane, regenerated, and I can get lots done. When I don’t get enough I can get cranky, lethargic, weepy, and I can’t finish things. Obviously sleep is important to me; it is important for us all to get enough sleep. But how much sleep is enough? Studies point to different amounts – how do you know which one to follow? I believe we should listen to our bodies. We may need different amounts at different times in our lives. We may be able to get different amounts at different times in our lives. Nap if it helps. In this crazy world you may not always be able to get the sleep you need, but make it a priority and do the best you can.
