When it comes to emotional recovery, you are where you are and you feel what you feel. Show yourself some grace. If you’re still feeling traumatized as a result of being bullied as a child, embrace it, and accept it. Naming your feelings and feeling your feelings are the keys to healing your feelings. If you tell yourself to “grow up” or “get over it already,” you are only bullying yourself further. (KT)
