Give yourself some time to actually feel what you are feeling. It is okay to wallow in it for a while. Try to set a time limit, and really get down into those feelings. Then let it go and move on. Don’t beat yourself up for having those feelings; you are human, and your feelings are your feelings. Feelings are not good or bad – they just are. If you don’t acknowledge that you have them, they have a tricky way of coming back until you deal with them. Be sure to have your feelings, and not let them have you.
