Are you remembering your self-care? It is so important to do the things that lift you up and recharge your battery! When is the last time you listened to some music that touched you so much you wanted to cry, or made you want to get up and dance? When is the last time you sat in silence, not even thinking, just being? When is the last time you headed out to your garden? When is the last time you went for a run? When is the last time you did something that you love to do? All of these things can be self-care, or none of them can. Self-care is whatever works for you. Make a plan to fit it in, because otherwise it won’t happen. I get it – life is going on at a whirlwind pace, and finding time to do one more thing can feel like too much! But self-care doesn’t have to be hours long, though it can be. A 5-minute break with a cup of tea and no one else to take care of might be enough to keep you on track for the rest of the day. Please don’t forget to nurture yourself while you are nurturing everyone else!
