If you get a feeling that you should reach out to someone, do it. Even if you don’t have a clue why it’s important, do it. When you make that phone call or send that text, it probably won’t be the thing that changes someone’s mind about committing suicide – but it might be. More likely is that your contact may be a bright moment in a sad day, or a reminder that someone out there does care. Maybe it will bring a smile to someone’s face. It won’t necessarily be a dramatic thing, but it will always be an important thing!
