Do you feel that a funk is something you have to get out of? If you are sad, do you feel that you need to snap out of it? Have you ever tried just living with whatever state you are in, instead of trying to change it? Here’s a thought – the next time you wake up in some mood, try embracing it. Give yourself a period of time to just immerse yourself in the pain, the sadness, the blues – whatever it is. Really feel those feelings; maybe look for their cause, maybe don’t. Maybe it’s important for you to know the why behind it – maybe it’s not. Try being still and listening to what your heart needs in that moment, and then provide it. It may be that slowing down and feeling your feelings may be enough.
