Forgiveness is important, and the first person in need of forgiveness is you. Forgive yourself for all missteps, slip-ups, moments of nastiness, less-than-ideal actions, and falls-from-grace, actual or perceived. Then forgive anyone else in your life who needs it. We are all doing the best we can with the knowledge we have at the time. And remember, forgiveness is something we do for ourselves that allows us to let go of the past and continue to live in the present.
