What makes you happy – really happy? What puts a smile on your face? Whatever it is, figure out how to get into that state at least once a day. Once you have managed once a day for a while, shoot for hitting that state more often in your day. And it doesn’t have to be the same thing that gets you there every day – one day it may be seeing a laughing baby, another it may be spending time in your garden, another it may be balancing your checkbook on the first try. Maybe it’s having a half hour to lose yourself in a good book or a video game – whatever floats your boat. You deserve to be happy – figure out what gets you there.
