Start your day with an uplifting thought. It can be a thought of gratitude, an affirmation, or the thought of something you get to do today that makes you smile. It is easy for your thoughts to automatically go to the things you are not looking forward to today, and it is worth the time and effort it takes to come up up with something else. I am grateful today that I have fans to sit in front of in this heat. Tomorrow I am looking forward to brunch with friends. Some days all I can find in the morning is that I am grateful that I woke up. It doesn’t matter – it is enough.
