Sometimes we really just don’t know what to do. And then we meditate, pray, think about it, don’t think about, and anything else we can think of to find the answer. And sometimes we really do know what to do, but we may not want to do it, so we tell ourselves we don’t know, try anything else, put up with all kinds of inner conflict, and basically try to pretend that what we know is right is not the right answer. Eventually the discomfort from not doing what we know we should do will drive us crazy, and maybe even make us sick. It is important to be calm, listen to our inner voice, and then act on it. We may not always like what we hear, and we still need to hear it.
