Grieve the way that works for you. If it’s important for you to be with people, then be with people. If it’s important for you to be alone, then be alone. If it’s important for you to cry, then cry. If it’s important for you to laugh and smile, then laugh and smile. And if it’s important to you to do all of the above, then do all of the above. There is no one ‘right’ way to grieve. You don’t get over a loss, you get through it. It take longer for some than for others. There is no formula for it. If you are doing what you need to do, then you are doing it ‘right.’
