Wake up with gratitude

Wake up every morning with gratitude in your thoughts. Even when life is hard (which can be often), you can always find things to be grateful for. You can start with the fact that you did, indeed, wake up this morning. Things may not seem to be going your way right now, but did you catch that smile thrown your way this morning – another thing to be grateful for. It doesn’t matter that your list seems to be populated with small things, it’s the gratitude that counts, not the size of what you’re grateful for. And as you continue to grow your list, you may find that all those seemingly small things are actually bigger than you thought.
