It is not enough to set good boundaries for yourself, it is important to also enforce them. If you don’t respect your own boundaries, why would you expect anyone else to? There are a lot of issues that can be traced back to boundaries not being kept, and when you look closely, you may find that it is you not keeping them. Make sure to set boundaries that will work for you, and then stick to them. You can always change them if they are not working for you, but don’t change them because they don’t work for someone else.
